Since two decades ago, Truth Commissions have been set up in the countries emerging from armed conflicts or non-democratic political systems. On the occasion of her stay at the University of Luxembourg, Prof. Marcela Ceballos, political scientist from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, will present the conclusions of her work on Truth Commissions in South Africa, Guatemala and El Salvador. This meeting open to all, will also promote the discussion of the possibility to establish similar institutions in Colombia.
